What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit. They let the site remember information between pages or visits, such as a session or a setting. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. In this policy, the word cookies covers all of them.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company, such as an advertising network, are third-party cookies. Some cookies expire when you close your browser, while others remain until a set date or until you delete them.
Cookies can be useful. They keep people signed in, remember a language choice or hold items in a shopping cart. They can also follow people across websites to build advertising profiles, which is why Canadian privacy law expects websites to be open about them.
Cookies and storage we use
The EluxAI website currently uses only strictly necessary technical storage, and many pages use none at all. Strictly necessary storage is what a site needs to work properly and securely. It does not track you across other websites or build a profile of you.
Examples include storage that protects our contact form against spam or keeps a feature working while you move between pages. Because this storage is essential to the service you request, we do not ask for a separate consent choice. You can still block it in your browser, but parts of the site, such as the contact form, may stop working.
Our web servers also keep standard logs of requests, such as IP addresses and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting. We review the site's storage when we release significant updates, to confirm nothing optional has been added. Server logs are not cookies. Our privacy policy explains how we handle them.
No analytics or advertising cookies
We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell information about your visit or share it with advertising networks. There are no optional cookies to accept or refuse, so our site does not show a cookie banner.
This also means our website does not use technology that identifies, locates or profiles visitors. Quebec's Law 25 requires that kind of technology to be turned off by default, and we would follow that rule if we ever used it.
Keeping the site free of tracking is a deliberate choice. Businesses that ask us about AI agents often handle sensitive customer information, and our own website should respect the privacy standards we build into client deployments. It also keeps our pages lighter and faster to load.
If we add analytics in the future
If we decide to add analytics or any other optional cookies, we will update this policy before they go live. We will also add consent controls that let you accept or refuse optional cookies, and we will keep them turned off until you choose. The date at the top of this page will show when the change was made.
Any analytics we add would help us understand how the site performs, such as which pages are useful and where visitors run into problems. We would choose settings that limit the personal information collected. This policy would describe each type of cookie, its purpose and how long it lasts. You would be able to change your choice at any time.
Cookies on client projects
When our agents build a website or app for a client, the client decides which cookies that site uses. The client's own privacy and cookie notices apply to those sites, not this policy. We advise clients on consent controls, but each client is responsible for its own compliance. If you visit a website we built for a client, contact that business with questions about its cookies.
Third-party links and embedded content
Our website links to other websites, such as privacy regulators and browser help pages. When you follow a link, you leave our site and the other website's cookie and privacy policies apply. We do not control the cookies other websites set and are not responsible for their practices.
Our pages do not currently embed third-party videos, maps or social media feeds that set their own cookies. If we add embedded content, we will update this policy and, where needed, ask for your consent before it loads.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. You can block all cookies, block only third-party cookies or clear cookies each time you close the browser. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect how our site works. The official help pages below give step-by-step instructions.

Phones and tablets
On phones and tablets, cookie controls are usually found in the browser's settings under privacy or site data. On an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and find Safari to block cookies or clear website data. On Android, open Chrome, tap the menu, then choose Settings and Site settings.
Private browsing
Private or incognito windows delete cookies when you close the window. This is a simple way to browse without keeping cookies afterwards. It does not make you anonymous to the websites you visit or to your internet provider.
